1940s framed starlet photograph / vintage movie star portrait in cardboard frame

This is a charming little portrait of of a starlet from the 1940s, judging by her hairstyle and the sleeves of her dress. The frame's stand was never popped out -- this piece may have lived in a dresser or memory box, but would make an excellent piece of decor for a vanity, boudoir or art wall.
There is no identifying info about the woman in the picture or the company who made this, except for a lone patent number on the back: PAT NO 2.245.368 is what it appears to read.

Details: Cardboard frame and back; picture inside appears to be like newsprint; frame cover is plastic or acrylic.
Condition: Very good vintage condition.There are nicks and wear to the cardboard frame, and there was a small tear to the decorative paper on the back (re-glued) but the frame backing is intact and has never been used.
