This portrait is of a lovely woman of the 1930s. While there is great detail work in her expression and features, the artist is free with brush strokes and a soft, almost pastel palette.

Condition: Good. There are four chips to the frame moulding, each about 1 inch long (see 3rd photo for damage). Frame also has some scuffing, but the portrait itself has only one tiny dent in the lower right corner.
